Last week, ahead of ONE: Call To Greatness, ONE CEO Chatri Sityodtong shared a photo of himself with Vitor Belfort at the ONE Singapore offices, with the caption, ‘stay tuned for some big news!’ You can read about that here.

This left fans guessing whether Belfort would be the next big ONE signing. Especially after the ONE boss tweeted this a few days later:

I'm getting ready to announce some big athlete signings for ONE Championship!

Any guesses????

Now it is official, Belfort has signed with ONE. ESPN’s, Ariel Helwani was the first to report it.

Vitor Belfort has officially signed with ONE, according to sources.

And then moments later, Sityodtong himself, confirmed the news.

Belfort is the latest big name signing for the promotion, with some of the big stars including Demetrious Johnson, Eddie Alvarez and Sage Northcutt. Who have all been on ONE’s first tour of the US this week.
