UFC Vegas 3 Salaries And Suspensions

UFC Vegas 3 went down this past weekend at the UFC APEX in Las Vegas and the Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC) has now revealed the fighters’ salaries and medical suspensions from the card.

Jim Miller took home the biggest salary on the night. In his 35th UFC fight, the 36 year old took home just over quarter of a million US dollars, including his win bonus and Performance of the Night bonus.

Below is the full list of fighters’ salaries from UFC Vegas 3 (via MMA Fighting). The numbers include win bonuses and performance bonuses but doesn’t include Reebok fighter payouts or any other payments or sponsorships.

Curtis Blaydes: $90,000 + $90,000 win bonus = $180,000

Alexander Volkov: $80,000

Josh Emmett: $76,000 + $76,000 win bonus + $50,000 performance bonus = $202,000

Shane Burgos: $75,000 + $50,000 performance bonus = £125,000

Raquel Pennington: $63,000 + $63,000 win bonus = $126,000

Marion Reneau: $38,000

Belal Muhammad: $50,000 + $50,000 win bonus = $100,000

Lyman Good: $28,000

Jim Miller: $104,000 + $104,000 win bonus + $50,000 performance bonus = $258,000

Austin Hubbard: $25,000 + $25,000 win bonus = $50,000

Max Rohskopf: $12,000


The biggest earner on the night, Miller, also came out of his 160lbs catchweight fight with Roosevelt Roberts unscathed, avoiding any suspension from the NSAC. His opponent Roberts however, received a six month suspension, and will have to undergo an MRI on his left elbow, following the fight ending armbar.

Josh Emmett also received a six month suspension. Although with the injuries the 35 year old featherweight suffered to his left knee, it is unlikely that he will fight again this year.

Curtis Blaydes: Suspended until August 5th, no contact until July 21st due to lip laceration.

Alexander Volkov: Suspended until July 21st, no contact until July 12th.

Josh Emmett: Must have MRI of left knee, if positive then must have clearance from an orthopaedic or sports medicine doctor or no contest until December 18th. Minimum suspension until July 21st with no contact until July 12th.

Shane Burgos: Must have laceration under right eye cleared by doctor or no contest until August 5th and no contact until July 21st. Minimum suspension until July 21st, no contact until July 12th.

Marion Reneau: Suspended until July 21st, no contact until July 12th.

Belal Muhammad: Suspended until August 5th, no contact until July 21st due to right eyebrow laceration.

Roosevelt Roberts: Must have MRI and x-ray of left elbow, if positive must have clearance from an orthopaedic or sports medicine doctor or no contest until December 18th. Minimum suspension until July 21st, no contact until July 12th.

Clay Guida: Suspended until July 21st, no contact until July 12th.

Tecia Torres: Must have left hand X-rayed, if positive must have clearance from an orthopaedic or sports medicine doctor or no contest until December 18th. Minimum suspension until July 21st with no contact until July 12th.

Brianna Van Buren: Must have right hand X-rayed, if positive must have clearance from an orthopaedic or sports medicine doctor or no contest until December 18th Minimum suspension until July 21st, no contact until July 12th.

Marc-Andre Barriault: Suspended until July 21st, no contact until July 12th.

Oskar Piechota: Suspended until August 5th, no contact until July 21st.

Cortney Casey: Must have right hand and wrist X-rayed, if positive must have clearance from an orthopaedic or sports medicine doctor or no contest until December 18th. Minimum suspension until July 21st with no contact until July 12th.

Justin Jaynes: Must have right super-orbital laceration cleared by doctor or no contest until August 5th and no contact until July 21st.

Frank Camacho: Suspended until August 5th, no contact until July 21st.

Roxanne Modafferi: Suspended until July 21st, no contact until July 12th.

Max Rohskopf: Suspended until August 5th, no contact until July 21st due to laceration above left eye.

After UFC Vegas 3, Emmett took to social media to reveal the damage his left knee took in the fight. Remarkably, the injury happened in the very first minute. Yet he still managed to find a way to win.
