UFC 255: Figueiredo vs Perez Results And Post Fight Videos

UFC 255 goes down this weekend at the APEX Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. In the main event, Deiveson Figueiredo is set to make his first title defence, since winning the vacant UFC flyweight title at UFC Fight Island 2. Challenging the Brazilian will be Alex Perez, who has won three straight inside the Octagon.

In the co-main event, the women’s flyweight title will be on the line, with Valentina Shevchenko defending her belt against Jennifer Maia. The ‘Bullet’ will be making her fourth title defence, and is coming off a third round TKO win over Katlyn Chookagian earlier this year at UFC 247. Her Brazilian 32 year old challenger comes in as a huge underdog, and earned her shot at the title with a first round submission victory over Joanne Calderwood at UFC Vegas 5.

Elsewhere on the UFC 255 main card, Mike Perry, who missed weight by 4.5lbs, takes on Tim Means, who stepped in and replaced the injured Robbie Lawler. Chookagian and Cynthia Calvillo face off in a top five flyweight contest, and ‘Shogun’ Rua and Paul Craig run it back after they fought out a draw in their first fight a year ago at UFC Sao Paulo.
