ONE Championship Partners With Facebook

The extensive list of partners continues to grow for ONE Championship. Most recently, the Singapore-based organisation agreed to a partnership with Facebook. This landmark deal strengthens ONE’s status as Asia’s largest global sports media property.

The partnership means that ONE will produce exclusive video content for Facebook Watch and Instagram’s IGTV. Virtual reality content will also be made available for Facebook’s Oculus Quest headset. In an interview with Sportbusiness, ONE CCO Hari Vijayarajan said that Facebook has helped ONE Championship achieve global awareness.

“Our long-term partnership with Facebook has been instrumental in allowing us to build reach and audiences around the world,” said Vijayarajan. “We are excited to expand our partnership and leverage the power of the Facebook platform, be that VR with Oculus, the rapid growth of Esports and community gaming with Facebook Gaming, or simply non-stop action clips for Facebook Watch you cannot find anywhere else.”

Facebook’s director of sports partnerships Joyee Biswas is a firm believer of ONE Championship’s values. So when it comes to online platforms, ONE will continue to receive support from Facebook.

“Community is at the core of ONE Championship and we will continue to help them reach their audiences whether it is through premium content in Facebook Watch, or to our new engagment opportunities through Facebook Gaming.”

ONE Championship is currently hosting a series of closed-door events in Singapore, which began with ONE: Inside The Matrix.
