Conor McGregor Hits Out At Paulie Malignaggi And Khabib
Following videos emerging of Conor McGregor’s friend and training partner Artem Lobov, and Paulie Malignaggi coming to blows, McGregor has in the last hour taken to Twitter to hit out at the former boxing world champion. You can watch the video here.
McGregor posted seventeen tweets aimed at Malignaggi, of photos of the two sparring, ahead of the Irish man’s fight with Floyd Mayweather in 2017. These were a few of the tweets:
And not content with hitting out at Malignaggi, McGregor then immediately continued his hitting out, by taking aim at Khabib Nurmagomedov.
McGregor also tweeted these two messages before the tweet to Khabib above but deleted them soon after. But not before we took a screenshot of them.
For someone who has supposedly retired from the fight game, it appears the former UFC two weight division champion, still has a lot of fight in him.
McGregor has a past with both Malignaggi and Khabib. Malignaggi was unhappy that Team McGregor release some footage of their sparring sessions and the two have gone back and forth ever since.
McGregor and Khabib got to settle their differences inside the UFC Octagon. Khabib was able to finish McGregor in the fourth round and soon after all hell broke after Khabib jumped the cage and lunged at McGregor’s other good friend and training partner, Dillon Danis.
Although the UFC were quick to get things under control, everyone who was involved was suspended by the Nevada State Athletic Commission. McGregor will be eligible to fight again from next week. While Khabib can return in September.
McGregor has since taken to Twitter again, to comment on Khabib’s friend Ruslan Magomedov, who has just been banned for life by USADA. You can read more about that here.
Do you think we’ll see McGregor fight again? And if so, who would you like to see him fight?
